My STYLE

Get ready the month of March, I will be documenting my style with each day. I have become quite the fashionista. I have been taking charge of my outfits each day for quite some time so I think it would be appropriate to share with all of you what I do. Look back soon.

We are too cool for school

With each new year we must take a school picture. This year is my first year. The teachers have no idea what they have in store for them. On meet the teacher day Isabella's teachers were so happy to see her and could hardly wait to get her in their classroom. She appears to be the comedian at school and they loved hearing stories from her teachers last year about her. Well that was until Miles Hoglund entered the school. I have moves they have never seen. After all everyone want s to eat me up. I will let in on a little secret....it has a lot to do with my smile! I can hardly wait to see what this year holds for Isabella and I at school. This year is special because it is my first year and her last year at WEE school. Here we go.

From That to This

I have been too busy bugging my sister that I forgot to do my birthday post. Look how far I have come in 2 years.

We walked for miles and Miles

It is a good thing that Nana likes playing with my tootsies because they needed a little extra loving after all of the walking they did when we were in Chicago. But......Thankfully my Nanny Jenna was there to pick me up when they needed a break. and Papa was there to hold me while I slept on the train. Papa is awake and I am sleeping sitting just like that! When I woke up Momma kept asking me if my neck hurt, I guess this is why. Once we were finished with the train ride I went to my very 1st baseball game ever with Daddy. Of course I didn't get to do a lot of walking here as we were in our seats most of the time. A trip to the ball park would not be complete without a new baseball cap for my melon head. After the baseball game we went to Taste of Chicago where I danced and pitched a fit. Momma kept saying 'You get what you get and you don't pitch a fit.' But I still pitched a fit.
Until I crashed and burned on the train ride back to Nana and Papa's house. Apparently I was not the only Hoglund boy to crash and burn.

FOURTH OF JULY: Miles liners

This is a heart attack for Momma waiting to happen. As it is my balance is a little bit off but Momma and Daddy let me ride the 'zip line' at the park. It was FUN! I convinced Momma with my laughing that it is all OK. Some say one is better than two and I am glad Daddy has 2 strong shoulders for each of his babies.

Papa likes telling me stories.

Climbing on Papa and laughing with Nana are the best!
Here I was making a friend on the other side of the fence. I can't seem to remember her name though. hmmm.
Fireworking with Momma and blue.
Come her ducky!

Paint your face Chicago

Well I finally got to ride on a plane again to go see Nana and Papa in Chicago because that is where Papa works. We also got to see Uncle Justin, Aunt Michelle, Aunt Jenna and Jackson. It was was so much fun we got to play in the yard but we kept getting locked off of the deck. When we did make it back inside where we got to play this little piggy with Nana. She had so much fun tickling us.
The next day we were there we went on the train and the L. I got to go downtown Chicago with our wonderful tour guide my cousin Tracy. She gave me and Momma a tour of the city where she took us to the American Girl store. I got my girl a new outfit. I really wanted a new girl with hair but Momma said they were as big as I was so I had to wait a few more years.

While we were touring the city with Tracy everyone else went to watch the Chicago Cubs play (Miles will tell you about that). When we met back up with everyone we went to the Taste of Chicago which I call Paint your face Chicago because my friend on the train told me she was going to get her face painted at Taste of Chicago. Instead of having Paint your face Chicago I got ride the carousel with Daddy.

Papa and Nana had so many parks at there house that we could walk to. As you can see we got a lot of swinging in. From all of us kids swinging with Uncle Justin.

To the zip line with Nana. To perfecting my golf swing with Papa. And swinging from a tree like a monkey. I had a major accomplishment on the day I hung like a monkey, I made it all the way from one end of the monkey bars to the other end all by myself!
Nana and Papa made sure our July 4th celebration was special they took us to a parade! Except they didn't throw beads they handed out candy. We were standing in the back so we didn't get much which was ok with Momma but Papa snuck me a piece of gum. My very first piece of gum to chew. It was a really cool small town parade. After the parade we went back to Nana and Papa's house for naps and a bbq, then we were off to watch the fireworks.

No Words Needed

Cookies for Daddy

Since the summer has arrived Momma has done an excellent job of keeping us busy. One morning she had the wonderful idea to make Daddy cookies and bring them to him at work. We got the ingredients measured out.Isabella was in charge of pouring the oatmeal into the mix. While she was busy taking charge I was busy trying to get into the chocolate chips. But for some reason the bag would not open. I just didn't understand why her oatmeal was open but my chocolate chips were not. Once Momma mixed the cookie batter in her mixer. I convinced her to let me help put the cookies on the pan as I was bound and determined to get some chocolate chips.
